Three would-be rapist thugs quickly found out that they entered the wrong house to commit sexual assault against a 19-year-old girl in Lumberton, N.C.
As the teen was enjoying a nice evening with her grandparents, a trio of thugs began banging on the front door, eventually forcing their way inside the home of the 67-year-old man and his wife while demanding money in an attempt to rob the couple.
As they moved the grandparents to the back of the home and told the grandfather to open his safe, the thugs, who probably thought the older couple was an easy target for quick cash, found out that they picked the wrong house after the grandfather opened fire on the intruders with a firearm he had stashed nearby.
The thugs managed to beat the elderly man — enough to require him to be airlifted to an intensive care unit at a local hospital — but the grandfather successfully shot all three of the thugs, forcing them to flee.
As the trio fled the home, they stole the man’s gold Cadillac. But when police recovered the stolen vehicle not long after, they found one of the thugs, 20-year-old Jamie Lee Faison, lying dead inside.
The other two scumbags had been transported to hospitals to be treated for the healthy dose of lead the grandfather was able to dole out.
One of the family members of the injured grandfather updated the story, saying that he made it through surgery but wasn’t “out of the woods” yet. They requested prayers for the heroic elderly man who saved his entire family thanks to his firm belief in the Second Amendment (H/T Western Journalism).
This story is yet another solid account why having the freedom to defend your family is more important today than ever.
Most liberal anti-gunners will tease and make fun of Second Amendment supporters, claiming that it’s ridiculous to think someone would randomly break into your home and attempt to rape or rob you or that the police will keep you safe if they did.
